Boutique Hotels
Boutique hotels on Tulum's beaches include Coco Tulum Hotel and Ana y José Hotel. Coco Tulum accommodations include its tower suites, reminiscent of something out of a fairytale, and beachfront cabanas that feature a bed, mosquito netting, solar-powered lamp and a small table with chairs. Coco Tulum has a full-service restaurant and bar, as well as a beach club for water sports. Ana y José Hotel is a 23-unit hotel and spa that offers beachfront and ocean-view suites, an outdoor pool and hot tub, plus a full-service restaurant. Each of these boutique hotels offers wedding or honeymoon services. Each can assist in planning and organizing your wedding or vow renewal, can cater the event and provide guest accommodations.
Bungalows and Villas
Bungalow or villa-style accommodations are commonplace along the beach. Azulik features 15 rustic, beachfront villas made solely of wood, glass and thatch. With no electricity within the accommodations, candles provide illumination. The property features a full-service restaurant and bar, room service to each villa and an on-site spa. Posada Dos Ceibas offers eight one- and two-story cottages on the beach. Accommodations use limited solar power, and each has a private porch or patio. This property features an on-site restaurant, private beach access and yoga classes.
Beach Cabanas
Zamas features simple cabana units with thatched roofs and tile decor. A few units are beachfront, while others have views of the Caribbean. The property features an open-air restaurant and bar, which serves fresh seafood and exotic drinks. Cabañas Tulum offers beachfront cabanas in various sizes. Units have a basic bathroom, two double beds, simple lighting and a porch that faces the beach. Electricity is limited to certain hours of the day. This property features a gaming room and a full-service restaurant.
All-Inclusive Resorts
You can also book a couple of all-inclusive resort properties: Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa and Be Tulum Hotel. Dreams Resort offers a private stretch of beach, various beachfront and ocean view rooms and suites, seven dining options, an outdoor swimming pool and a private golf course. Accommodations feature their own balcony or patio, fully stocked mini-bar, full-size bathroom, air-conditioning and wireless Internet. Be Tulum Hotel is another all-inclusive property with 20 beachfront suites, each with floor-to-ceiling windows, and their own private double jetted tub or plunge pool. Be Tulum has full-service restaurant and lounge and an on-site spa and beach club and has the capability of organizing and catering a wedding or honeymoon.
